campus life third-person paragraph

During lunch time in the cafe at San Pasqual Acadamey, students all get in line to grab a tray, fork, spoon & knife, and a milk. They follow the line and the chef, Johnny, or other students that help out serve you food. There is a salad bar, and a fountain for drinks. students can sit inside or outside, and after they finish their meals, they bring their tray to the window and dump their trash there. then the bell rings and everyone goes to class.

CST Testing Reflection

The CSTs are finally over, and I think they went very well. it seems like every year, its the same questions, but reworded. they do get a little bit more difficult, but over all, I felt like it wasn't much of a challenge. I'm happy that I'm a freshman and I only had to take two tests.

My Feelings about the Upcoming CSTs

in my opinion, the CST's are sort of pointless. ive taken them every year since i was in 1st grade, and it seems like its the same thing every single time. im not exactly sure what they do, or how people grade them/look at them, but i dont see why their important.

std's affect young adults in many ways emotionally and physically. you can become weak, and get rashes, and become depressed in many different ways. its important to practice safe sex, and be careful.

Free Choice Blog Post

Today was supposed to be "a day of unity" but I feel like everyone acted the opposite of what we’re trying to preach. Although most people wore purple to show the color of unity, the whole message didn’t really come out; actually it came out in a total different day. It sucked that half of the class got kicked out, and that everyone was so grumpy. It’s interesting to me, because people react so differently from other people. I think one of the reasons people were so irritable was because the whole unity, and working as a family thing triggered emotions, and hit people hard because of certain personal problems. I know thinking of this campus as a “family” is difficult because everyone always wants to fight each other, or their constantly arguing, but we should try and work together. If we don’t even try, then things are going to get worse and then we’ll realize how little it would have taken to just get along. We should start working with each other instead of against each other.

Reading and highlighting the sources for my UnGoogleable research paper helped me to learn more information about my topic. I learned about physical and emotional effects of STD's and how they stick with you forever. my next step is to go through the main points i want to tell people, then write my essay.

Third Quarter Awards Review

The award assembly is like a gathering at the beginning of every quarter where the whole school gets together in the auditorium to announce different awards different students and teachers get. The first award they gave out, was for the students that got a 3.0 to a 3.5. It was cool to see how many people got that award. Then they gave out awards like citizenship, respect, and responsibility. It was nice to know how many kids are respectful. Then they gave out the 3.5 to 3.9. There were fewer students for this one, but still a good handful. The last award was for the students with 4.0’s. There were only a couple students with that one. That would be really awesome to get that award. Oh, and they also gave out an award for the “students of the quarter” and jojo an yaya got that. I was happy for them. I hope to get some kind of award next quarter.

UnGoogleable Research – What I Already Know

My focus question is "what kind of emotional affects do STDs have on teenagers?" I already know that they do cause emtional problems, for a fact, and that they can stick with you for a very long time. i also know that they cause pysical problems that interfer with your health and body. by doing this research i hope to learn about what symptoms there are, what they do to your body, and  emotional affects they have on you.

Fourth Quarter Kickoff Reflection

During 4th quarter kickoff, I got to meet a lot of new people and interact with my grade level. First, ii met up at the flag pole, and got to meet my English teacher, Ms. Priester. Then the entire freshman gathered together and we split up into teams to go on a scavenger hunt. After the scavenger hunt, we made “monkey munch” and made monkeys to put up in the classroom. After the activities we did as grade levels, we went to the café, and ate lunch all together. After lunch, there were 6 teams, and we all split up to play sports like capture the flag and softball. Overall, the day was really good and full of hype.
